These are the absolute minimum checkin times at DIA and most USA airports. This is the time by which you must be fully checked in, including bags, so any wait time in the ticket counter lines must be added to this:

International Non-Stop Flights: (with or without bags - bags must be checked at the ticket counter, not curbside): 1 hr.

Domestic flights with checked baggage: 45 min.

Domestic flights without checked baggage: 30 min at DIA, some other airports require 45 min.

CURBSIDE CHECKIN IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR DOMESTIC FLIGHTS: United offers curbside checkin on the limo level (level 5). All the major airlines offer curbside checkin on level 6, but availability varies do to the ongoing construction.

For United Global Services go inside door W612, then look to right side of corridor in front of you.

For United 1-K go inside door W608 to left end of the ticket counter.

Most of our clients have CLEAR in addition to TSA PRE or Global Entry. They report that this allows them to get through security at DIA in 10-20 minutes. You can signup for CLEAR anytime you are in the security area.

However, in very busy times, the CLEAR line can be 30 minutes or more.

There is now a service that will pick you up at the limo, walk your party through crew security (the fastest security available) and escort you to your gate. We can arrange that service or put you in contact with them.

All pickups are on Level 5, Island 2 (marked Limousines) the driver will typically specify:
EAST (Door 505, Section A) or
WEST(Door 512, Section D).

The driver will have texted you before you deplane with pickup instructions. If you have checked luggage, let your driver know (that may affect the pickup time and location).

International Arrivals: Text the driver when you clear customs. As you exit the customs area, turn left and go to East Door 505, Island 2 Section A for pickup.

DIA Ranks as 3rd-Busiest Airport in the US in 2024, just behind ATL and DFW. DIA ranks 5th in the world behind Dubai and London Heathrow. (As of October 2023.)

With SouthWest Airlines shifting their main hub to DIA, it will probably stay that way.

DIA has experience a full day shut down for weather delays a handful of times. It is a remarkably well run operation that continues to operate in very difficult weather conditions.
